About:  My first choral setting of a sacred Latin text, this piece was written for premiere by the International Orange Chorale at the San Francisco Conservatory’s 9th Bienniel Choral Composition Competition. I love the grand declaration of the whole world rejoicing in God’s salvation. With long melismatic lines, this piece draws from the world of Pérotin — musical subtlety as the conduit for great truths.
